Prüfung des Kufenschliffs:
Der Messerkantenprüfer GBC dient zur Kontrolle des Schliffs von seitlich geschärften Klingen. Mit diesem Werkzeug lässt sich schnell erkennen, ob der Schliff gerade verläuft oder schräg über die Schlittschuhkufe abweicht.
ANWENDUNG:
Platzieren Sie ein graues Teil an der Vorderseite der Schlittschuhkufe und das andere an der Rückseite. Üben Sie mit einem Finger leichten Druck aus, um sie in Schwingung zu versetzen. Warten Sie, bis die Schwingung stoppt, und lesen Sie dann das Ergebnis ab. Weisen die Teile unterschiedliche Winkel auf, liegt ein schräger Schliff vor.
Wichtig: Vor der Anwendung ist es unbedingt notwendig, die Schlittschuhkufe mit einem Schleifstein abzuziehen. Andernfalls könnte die Messung ungenau ausfallen.

Check the sharpening:
The blade edge checker, GBC, is a tool for checking the sharpening on blades that are side-honed. It is a fast system for seeing whether the grinding goes straight or diagonally across the skate blade.
Use:
Place one of the grey parts at the front of the skate blade and the other one in the back. Use a finger to flip them slightly so that they come into oscillation. Read the result when the oscillation has stopped. If the angles of the parts are different, the grinding is diagonal.
Important! Use a whetstone on the skate blade before you use the GBC. Otherwise the measurement can be skewed.
